Workout of the week! 10/01/17

The first leg day after the holiday break, painful!

Over Christmas and new year, I allowed myself a week off to recover from a few niggling injuries and be able to start back after the new year fresh, re-energized and focused on my training.

I rewrote a few of my workouts, streamlining them and adopting a few new and old exercises to enhance my potential. With this in mind I made a new years resolution...... Get my legs back! I am guilty of skipping a few leg days here and there and also having a worry about an old injury that likes to creep up when I'm on a role.

I have tailored this workout to commit to strict form and leave the ego lifting at the door and focus on regaining real strength where it matters.

Below is my new and improved leg workout, hope you enjoy it!

Leg Day 2017

Leg Extension 10 sets X 10

Leg Curl 10 sets X 10 (Super Set)

Straight Leg Dead lift 6 sets to failure

Box Squat 6 sets X 10

Leg Press 6 sets X 10

Seated Calf Raise 4 sets X 10

Donkey Calf Raise 4 sets X 10

Standing Calf Raise 4 sets X 10

Give this workout a real try, quite a lot of volume here but well worth the effort. If it works well for you let me know!
