Workout of the week! 16/09/16

Having washboard abs, a flat stomach or a six pack are one of the fitness industries biggest trends. Although doing 10000 crunches won't get you your sought after result, and eating correctly is in many cases the main focus to shed fat before building the muscles us, training abs is still very important.

Below is a quick workout that I like to use as part of my warm up a few times a week. You will really feel your abs burn if you go all out. Depending on what level of fitness you are at will depend on the sets and reps you do.

For total novices start out with 10 reps of each exercise for 1 set, just to see how it goes. Gradually build this up until you are doing 20/30 reps for 3 sets! Also don't skimp on your reps when you need to train each side of the body, for example if you are doing 10 reps on cross crunches, then that is 10 each side! Don't cheat yourself! Make your gains!
